Review: POSH - Theatre Royal Bath starring Tyger Drew Honey

Tyger Drew Honey, provides an outstanding performance in POSH

Currently running until 28TH September in Theatre Royal in Bath

Aaron and I saw POSH in Bath at the famous Theatre Royal, a Beautiful theatre with great characteristics.

Monday 23rd September, we took our seats inside the Theatre Royal to view the latest production on, after seeing The Man In The White Suite, we were looking forward to seeing Posh in the Theatre Royal.

Not knowing a lot about this show, only knowing that Outnumbered Star, Tyger Drew Honey was in it, we weren't sure what to expect.

The story is based on the Riot Club, which is an exclusive Oxford group, Which at their last dinner, caused carnage, and caused it to be brought into Public disrepute, The president is promising that this dinner, won't be a repeat of last time... However, the booze gets flowing, yes a lot of it, and temper rises, and the mood sour, its not all going to plan... and is certainly going to cause some serious consequences for them all...

Tyger Drew Honey, plays Alistair Ryle, the toff, with a right chip on his shoulder, he's a member of this exclusive Riot Club.

The whole cast performance is outstanding, it really isn't what you expect it to be, and is very near the mark, but so true, with some real important issues highlighted. Its got some very strong language, and adult themes, but is rewarded with some very unexpected humour within the script, leaving you laughing, and gasping in shock towards the end of the second half.

Tyger Drew Honey's performance is outstanding; from growing up with him watching him on Outnumbered, he has really turned into a talented actor; from tonight's performance, i can see whatever show he may do next, he will be fantastic and fit the role really well... From reading, this is Tygers first stage role, POSH; he's certainly enjoying it; and can't wait to see what he's got planned next.

Overall this show, I would rate 5 stars, for its amazing storyline, comedy, and dark gritty bits; its a show, really worth seeing at Theatre Royal in Bath, and I would, in a heartbeat go back and see it again.

It plays at Theatre Royal in Bath until 28th September, so I'd really recommend booking a ticket!!
